Reliable skin penetration data of active ingredients is highly relevant in the field of pharmaceutical industry, as it directly correlates with bioavailability, which is defined as the amount of molecules that reaches the systemic circulation 1 The aim of our study is to compare the Franz Diffusion Cell with a novel fluid dynamic platform, named MIVO ® by evaluating caffeine penetration from different vehicle solutions and two skin models.
