Using MIVO^®, our R&D team at Lotus Cytotech, a start-up from Chulalongkorn University, successfully maintained 3D bioprinted sheets of oral epithelial cells for up to 1 week under controlled flow of chemotherapy drugs. The integration of bacteria enabled us to investigate whether specific microbial interactions would influence treatment response in oral mucositis.
