EpiOcular

EYE ON CHIP

This model allows for the study of ocular diseases and drug testing by accurately recapitulating the physiological environment of the eye. This model is used in the cosmetic, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries and provides a reliable platform for the Eye Irritation Test (OECD TG 492) and offers an alternative to animal testing providing a more humane and ethical approach to evaluating the safety and efficacy of products.

A multi-layered epithelium that closely recapitulates human cornea model is also available on demand. It is ideal for assessing the permeability of drug compounds and evaluating drug delivery, cytokines release and the effects of inflammation on the cornea.

VAGINA ON CHIP

This model has a highly-differentiated structure that closely parallels in vivo vagina tissue, ideal for studying product safety, drug development, and sexually transmitted diseases. The 3D tissue structure and physiological characteristics make it the perfect platform for toxicology, drug delivery, and efficacy testing.

LUNG ON CHIP

This model consists of human-derived epithelial cells that exhibit a human-relevant tissue structure and cellular morphology with production of mucus, functional tight junctions, and beating cilia which replicate the complex pulmonary tissue structure. The model is an ideal platform for inflammation and fibrosis research, safety and risk assessment, anti-viral research, and drug delivery evaluation.

MOUTH ON CHIP

A new reliable model to mimic oral barrier tissue and study better ways to treat oral diseases. This oral mucosal model recreate the 3D structure and complex physiology of oral tissue, providing valuable insights for the safety and efficacy evaluation of raw materials and final product formulations.
